Eduardo Alvizo Perera

Eduardo Alvizo Perera has a degree in Nutrition from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Yucatan, a diploma in Gender Perspective Mainstreaming in Higher Education Institutions (awarded by the UADY), and a diploma in University Teaching granted by the Anahuac Mayab University. Eduardo gained a Master's degree in Government and Public Policy from the Faculty of Economics (UADY) with the highest average in his year. He is currently a candidate for a Doctorate in Economics, Poverty and Social Development from the University of Baja California.

Eduardo was an Associate Researcher at the Dr. Hideyo Noguchi Regional Research Center where he collaborated in projects about migration, the empowerment of women, human rights, gender equality, indigenous populations and HIV.


Winner of the "Emprender 2011" project awarded by the Yucatan Secretary of Youth, Eduardo has presented at more than 20 academic symposiums.

He is currently working as a professor at several private universities in Mérida, he is the Electoral Councilor of the 04 District for the National Electoral Institute, the Youth Counselor for the United States Consulate in Mérida, a member of the Mexican College of Clinical Nutrition and Nutrition Therapy, a columnist for "Milenio" newspaper in the "Power of the Pen" section, and Fundación BAI's Nutrition coordinator.
