HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS EDITION OF "A TASTE OF MÉRIDA"

This is one of our two annual “Signature” fundraisers organized by Fundación BAI, to help prevent HIV, STIs and teenage pregnancies, the other being our popular “Mérida Showcase of Homes Tour” every November.

The evening sells out weeks before since it’s now considered the “must attend” event of the Spring. Elegantly dressed friends and supporters arrive, clutching their precious tickets for the much anticipated extravaganza. One is immediately won over on entering the grand entranceway, greeted by a glass of chilled prosecco! Perfect for quenching your thirst on a humid evening – what a fabulous idea!

Then, meandering through the gorgeous hotel that has been lovingly and tastefully designed to the highest standards, one can explore the extensive grounds. The event had been perfectly set up. Way to go for Alejandro Baz, Javier Morales and Jorge Guerrero and the team at Ambienta Mérida! More than 200 of us were creatively accommodated at the venue, which was not only comfortable but also open and airy enough to walk around and mingle between courses and check out the awesome items for the silent auction.
